Skylotec BFD Y Flex Elasticated Twin Leg Lanyard

The SKYLOTEC BFD Y FLEX is an elasticated twin-leg energy-absorbing lanyard designed for professional fall arrest applications where continuous connection and reduced excess lanyard length are important. Its Y-shaped configuration allows the user to move between anchor points while remaining connected, making it suitable for general work-at-height applications.

The elasticated webbing reduces the overall lanyard length by up to 73cm on the 2m version, helping minimise snagging and excess material around the user. In the event of a fall, the integrated Tear Tape energy absorber deploys in a controlled manner to limit impact forces to below 6kN.

A hook-and-loop cover around the energy absorber allows the shock pack to be fully inspected and provides access for cleaning and drying where required. The cover also protects the identification labels incorporated into the absorber assembly.

This configuration is fitted with a 23mm gate double-action snap hook at the harness end and 60mm gate steel scaffold hooks on the twin legs.
