Petzl Sm'd Triact-Lock Yellow

The Petzl Sm'D is an ultra-lightweight, compact aluminium carabiner designed for professional work-at-height applications where reducing equipment weight is important. Its asymmetric D-shaped profile is particularly suited to attaching descenders, ascenders, pulleys and other technical devices while helping direct loads efficiently along the major axis.

A smooth internal profile allows the carabiner to rotate easily within systems, while the Keylock nose helps prevent snagging on ropes, slings and hardware. The H-shaped cross-section provides an excellent strength-to-weight ratio and helps protect identification markings from abrasion.

An integrated retention hole can be used with compatible devices such as the Petzl TIBLOC or MICRO TRAXION, helping reduce the risk of losing equipment. This version features the TRIACT-LOCK automatic locking system, requiring three separate actions to open the gate for increased security during professional use.
