The Notch Eye & Eye Prusik Cord is a 10mm Bee-Line friction cord designed for use in closed climbing systems. With a spliced eye at each end, both ends of the cord connect to the climber’s connector, creating a compact and versatile friction hitch setup without a loose tail.
Using both ends of the cord helps distribute friction more evenly through the hitch, supporting smoother and more consistent performance while still providing a secure grip when loaded. The eye-to-eye configuration is compatible with a variety of commonly used friction hitches and can be paired with a micropulley to assist with one-handed slack tending.
